Mental Health Partners pride themselves on providing Mental Health education courses that make a proven and measured difference in the workplace and peoples lives. Courses are offered at a variety of convenient locations across South Australia or can be delivered on-site at your workplace in metro or rural areas.

General Mental Health Awareness

This is an entry level course for any person. The content describes mental health and mental illnesses in Australia. There is knowledge and skill building on how to recognise when a person is becoming unwell and first steps to assisting that person.

Post Traumatic Stress Disorder

This course is to help people understand Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and how to respond to a person experiencing a PTSD episode. There is a lot of knowledge and skill building which can help you assist a person living with PTSD. This course is most suited to people working in the Aged Care field or people looking after a friend or relative who experiences PTSD.

This course is designed for front line workers. The course teaches about de-escalation techniques and risk managment. The differences between these approaches and how to determine which approach is appropriate to the situation. Organisation policy and procedures are incorporated into the course.
